Venue: Portland Expo Center
 Home to over 185 events per year, the Portland Exposition Building hosts trade shows, concerts, sporting events, conferences, civic meetings, and special events. Nearly 600,000 patrons pass through the Expo's turnstile each year. Bordered by the Portland Ice Arena on the right and Hadlock Field on its left, the Portland Exposition Building is the original centerpiece of the modern sports complex on Park Avenue.
 Prize Money & Awards:
The top 3 finishers in each division will receive medals. A $3,000 cash prize will be awarded to the winners of the Absolute division. The prize money will be allocated as follows: $2000 for the Men's Gi and No-Gi divisions and $1000 for the Women's Gi and No-Gi divisions. There will be a team trophy awarded to the top performing school at the FGO. Scoring for team trophy works as follows: 6 points for 1st place, 3 points for 2nd place and 1 point for 3rd place for all competitions/divisions including Absolute.

Format & Rules:
The FGO will have both Gi and No-Gi Divisions. Competition scoring and rules are based on the fundamentals of BJJ. The competition will follow a modified double elimination format. Divisions include Men’s Adult, Masters and Women’s Adult. Our rules have been developed with safety and sportsmanship as our highest priority to ensure a fun and safe experience for all skill levels. Schedule:
8am-9am: Weigh-in and registration for all competitors
10am: Matches begin -

11am-12noon: Late weigh-in and registration for No-Gi competitors (all Gi competitors must weigh-in and register between 8am-9am)
